Safari reloads page every 5 secs

Hello,

I have recently updated to ios 10.0.2. after this update, in my ipad (ipad mini) safari keeps reloading the page continuously. I have tried to restart the ipad, Close all the apps, but still the page keeps reloading saying "A problem has occured causing the page to reload". after sometime safari crashes. Everyone has any idea on how to solve this problem? Before the update, everything was working just fine.

Thank you

iPad Mini, iOS 10.0.2

Hello dameash,

Thank you for seeking help with Safari on your iPad Mini here in the Apple Support Communities. I understand how important Safari is and will be happy to help offer some things to check for this.

The first thing we want to ensure is that all your data is safe. You can make a backup in iCloud or iTunes using this article : How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch .

Then, please use this help article: Safari web settings on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch . Check the last section titled "Clear information from your device".

If you still experience issues, please check this help article: Stop pop-up ads in Safari .

Thanks and have a great rest of your day.
