Help with Safari History

Hello Apple Support Communities,

I just have a quick question. If I erase my iPhone without erasing my Safari History and return my phone to the AT&T store and someone buys the phone and logs in with their Apple ID will they be able to view my Safari History. The reason I ask is because I have been on my bank account and don't want someone to access my bank statements. I would greatly appreciate the help from everyone.
