Q: MacBook Pro constantly freezes

Hi there.

 

My partner is currently having an issue with her MacBook Pro where it will freeze at different periods.

Most of the time it will freeze on the login screen. If you leave it like that, it could take anywhere from 5 minutes to 2 hours to start working again. Even if it does start working, it'll eventually freeze again, no matter what you're doing.

When I say freeze, I mean the whole screen is frozen and you can't do anything at all apart from restarting using the button on the keypad. Most forums I've looked at, people have the issue where it will freeze with the cursor spinning around, but it's nothing like that.

I would put which OS it is running on, but it's currently frozen at the moment so I will have to wait until it's working again.

 

Would anyone have any suggestions on what might help or if they've experienced this before?

    Heres some of it.

    I noticed this in part of it:

    I'm not too good with this type of stuff, but sounds a bit odd?

    GBU driver as well as WindowServer is something wrong. Not sure it's OSX's bug or specific your MacBook Pro`s trouble, though you'd better make Genius Bar appointment to show them your trouble.
