Griffin iTrip not working with iPod 60 GB video
Hi all
I have a 60GB iPod Video and I just bought a FM transmitter. The transmitter brand is Griffin and the model of it is iTrip.
The problem that I'm facing is that the trnasmitter doesn't turn on once I plug it to my iPod. It behaves really odd, sometimes it turns on some times it doesn't.
I've done all kinds of testing. Some times when I turn my iPod off for several hours and then turn it back on with the transmitter plugged to it, it works, but some times that doesn't work.
I also tried the transmitter in a friend's iPod nano, and the transmiter worked just fine, whenever I plug it into that nano, it just turns on and works perfect.
I also played with my iPod settings. I went to settings/main menu/music/radio and I turned that option on and off but I guess that has nothing to do with the problem.
The version of my software is 1.2.1 and its format is for Windows.
I don't know what other details about the situation I could provide so you guys can help me. But I'd REALLY appreciate some help on this since I'm getting kinda frustrated with the transmitter.
I thought about going to the store and return it but since it worked fine with the iPod Nano, it seems to me like the problem is within my iPod.
Thanks a lot in advance!!!
David
