I understand you are receiving a password prompt for an Apple ID that is no longer in use. I would need to see a screenshot of the prompt and clarification on what you mean by replaced to provide you a better answer. However, this is most likely related to purchases associated with that Apple ID. Let's start with making sure all services that use an Apple ID have been updated with the new one.
