I upgraded to Sierra yesterday. Computer is an iMac Retina 5K 27 inch late 2015. I tried to run OpenOffice and it flashes the start screen then a message application quit unexpectedly. Sent info to Apple and tried ignore and restart application buttons but the same thing happens. I use OpenOffice extensively and need to get it running. How can I fix it?

I downloaded 4.1.3 this evening and the problem is still there. I went to OpenOfice's forum and found a lot of people having the problem. OpenOffice works fine on my MacBook Air with Sierra. A work around on the OO forum is to go to the file in finder and open it. It doe open in OO, but the icons in the tool bar are corrupted. The OO forum also reports folks have the problem with Libre.
