Piano roll interpretes left mouse click as right one. What shall I do?

Hey guys,

I've been using Logic Pro X for about 3 years now and I have never experienced any bugs whatsoever but here is my problem:

I opened the piano roll today and wanted to select some notes by holding the right side of my mouse(pad). But piano roll now interprets every mouse click as a right one. So I am not able to select notes individually but only by using the shortcut command+A to select all. So please help me, what can I do to fix this problem and make the left mouse click work again?

Probably somewhere in the preferences? I'm looking for a detailed description...

No, it didn't. You think its the new macOS Version that caused the problem?

It does seem there is a connection. You could try to reset the SMC. I will try to find someone who may have more knowledge of Logic Pro.

I don't have a MacBook, but I've just fired up Logic Pro under macOS Sierra on my Mac mini and I don't seem to have any problem selecting notes in the piano roll with either a mouse or a track pad. Have you set up your secondary click options the same way as you had them previously?

Can you send a screenshot of the Piano Roll editor?

One thing to test is whether your selection of tools (the actions that are assigned to the left and right mouse button) has changed.

Check this, maybe you swapped the selections and your left became your right?
