Q: Copy and paste across devices

I'm trying to use the copy and paste across devices function. When I copy from my MacBook Pro and try to paste on my iPad it works but the pasted item is in Japenness or Chinese. The language on my iPad is set to English. Not sure what is happening. Is there something I can do?

MacBook Pro5,1 - 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, Mac OS X (10.5.5)

I am having the same problem between my Mac book pro and my iPad. I found this article online and will give it a shot.
