Down loaded Mac OS Sierra the other day and just notice that my nook for Mac will not open. Is there an upgrade for nook for mac that uses Sierra?

What did Barnes & Nobles say about an update version of Nook when you asked them seeing as how it is their product?
They no longer support upgrades for OS and PC. This is what i have got from them.

Found away to open Nook for Mac. Turn off wifi or go off line and then launch Nook for Mac. After you open Nook for Mac you can go back online.
Nook will not download to Sierra. B/N will offer no hope of correcting the incompatibility. With several hundred dollars of books in my library I sought a total refund which they refused. Sounds like a good candidate for a class action suit.

B&N have messed it all up, complain to them.
