Oct 19, 2016 3:06 PM in response to Syedh03by JotaGi,★HelpfulIt's called "planned obsolescence"
On the other hand, could be that there's not enough storage left. Or too many apps running at the same time. So it takes a strain on the CPU and the iOS.

Oct 19, 2016 3:06 PM in response to JotaGiby Syedh03,Lol. That's what I was thinking. I only have 4 gigs left out of my 16 but my wife has 45 of her 64 so I don't think it's storage. Also my keyboard is even a step slow. And I closed all the running apps but same problem.

Oct 19, 2016 10:24 PM in response to Syedh03by Nobodee,★HelpfulTouch screen is slow to respond, not just third party apps but even Settings and Mail. For example, I click delete on one email, but since it didn't respond, I clicked the trash icon three times, after a few seconds, it finally responded and it showed one email being deleted, then another, then another.
When the phone did not respond, it freezes and can't do anything on the touch screen, but Home button still works and can close the app. Then when you open the app again, it seems to initiate for the first time (not resume with previous task but start from blank and starts to render.
This is happening right after 10.0.2 update. I haven't changed anything on my phone or installed any new apps.
Do I just wait for the next update? -

Oct 19, 2016 10:37 PM in response to Syedh03by Nobodee,Does your battery behave weird too? Right now it just all the sudden turned itself off, even though my battery right before it did that, was at 50% and the battery bar was green. It won't turn back on so I plugged in the charger and it showed the red battery icon, indicating that my battery was dead. But after 30 seconds, it turned itself on and it showed battery 50% on the Home screen.
I just hope more people report similar issues so we get some attention and get some fixes!

Oct 22, 2016 9:02 AM in response to Syedh03by HaGo21,Its clearly a defect. I'm facing the same issue in iPhone 6 after upgrading to 10.0.2. Phone app response is slow, first the grid appears and later the phone records (as you said, "just like in android") which makes us wait for around 3-5 seconds to make a call. Next on the list is iBook, same like phone app, is slow as snail.
PS: Checked these issues in my iPhone 6s, 6s works fine. The issue is with iPhone 6 running on iOS 10.0.2
