iPhone 6s Bluetooth Connection to Car Sounds like Static!

I recently got an iPhone 6s-upgraded from the 5s. 5s connected to my Chevy Cruze with no problems-6s connects but the static is so loud Bluetooth is unusable. Any advice on how to connect and get clear sound?

If you're using Bluetooth

Check your car stereo's user manual for how to pair with a Bluetooth device.

On your iOS device, swipe up to open Control Center, then taptwice to turn Bluetooth off and back on.

Restart your iOS device.

On your iOS device, unpair your car stereo. On your car's display, unpair your iOS device and any other devices. Restart your car and your iOS device, then pair and connect again.

Update your iOS device.

Install any firmware updates for your car stereo.

If you still can't connect, contact Apple Support.

Since you are using a more recent iPhone, the key thing I want to point out here is to check for an update to your car stereo.
