Q: TRIM on Samsung SSD 850 EVO

Hi,

I have a Macbook(non Pro) Mid 2010 updated to OSX Sierra. I installed a Samsung SSD 850 Evo in it and i wanted to know something about the TRIM. I've read that now it is possible to activate it by the PROMPT and it should be useful because it helps the system to "optimise" the space (cells) of the SSD making its performance last longer. But i've also read that there could be some problems with Samsung 8xx SSD series and TRIM command enabled on Linux systems and some other Mac users were scared about it. I know OSX comes from UNIX but it's not completely like Linux. Until now i didn't enabled TRIM and i didn't see any particular slowdown but i wanted to activated it because it should be the better way to "administrate" the SSD and i want to preserve it's performance in time. Should i enable TRIM without any problem or worry? Is it good to do it to optimase my  computer? Anyone has done it and could tell me about his experience and give me some advices?

Thanks
