iMessage iOS 10 keyboard stuck iPhone 7 Plus

Hi, I have a bug in iOS 10 (I am using 10.0.3) on my iPhone 7 Plus in which the keyboard gets stuck and follows me everywhere I go. I can go on any app, but the keyboard will stay on the screen and be completely usable. I can send a message to someone through my home screen without seeing the actual conversation. What I also noticed is that after this occurs, I no longer get notifications of messages and instead heard the sound of a message that was received while in iMessage. This all seems to start after responding to a message using 3D Touch. It doesn't always happen, but when it does, the only way to rid of the keyboard is to completely restart the phone.

I just got off the phone with Apple and was told this was the first time she heard of this issue. I ignored it the first time this happened (a few days ago), but it just happened again. I figured I'd post it on here too to see if anyone else has experienced this issue? And if so, has anyone found a solution in which the keyboard is rid of without restarting the iPhone?

This just happened to me outside of 3D touch. I was switching from Messages to a different app when I received a new message, and the keyboard popped up and remained until I powered off the phone.

On a different ip7+ I thought this was a 10.1 beta issue, but on my replacement ip7+ I'm on stock 10.0.3 and it's occurring. Hope they get this sorted out. Not a huge deal, but definitely an annoyance that should be fixed.
