I have been experiencing intermittent touchscreen issues. It doesn't respond immediately. I have to lock screen and re-open, turn on and off and sometimes I have to press power off and home at the same time. I already free some space thinking it could be one of the reasons but I am still experiencing the said issue. Please help. Thanks.

Thank you for your help. It's working now but should still remove the screen protector to clean the screen. Should a tempered glass help than a regular screen protector ( plastic-like screen protector ) ? Thanks again.
Glad you got it working. The decision to use a screen protector is up to you. You didn't mention anything about a screen protector before. Some protectors can cause issues, and if the device responds better without it, then it is up to you whether or not you wish to replace it.

I believe you may be experiencing the issue within this link I'm posting. I too am having the same exact issue. I have to put my phone to sleep, then wake it and sometimes my iPhone 6 touchscreen will respond as it should, then sometimes it will not. The symptoms discussed in this article are exactly the problems I'm having. And your description is exactly the same problem I'm having. I believe the problems described here are becoming a larger issue for Apple.
With no screen protector, you're iPhone should work flawlessly. So adding a screen projector should not make a difference unless you notice that a certain brand of screen protector is causing issues with your touch functionality.
I do not use a screen protector, and I understand the function. I'm not experiencing any problems, I was responded to the OP. I was referring to the fact that some screen protectors can reduce functionality, that is why I said what I did, but thank you for repeating it to me.

No, I do not, nor am I contracted by Apple. The only connection I have with Apple is to own some of their products and spending time here on the ASC in an attempt to answer other users questions to better understand and use their Apple products.
