Q: Apple iOS 10.x bluetooth streaming media play back?

I have a iPhone 6 and 1 yo Motorola Bluetooth Whisper head piece.

After iOS 10.xx upgrade, sound plays when Bluetooth not connected

No sound when Bluetooth is connected

WTH

Has Apple stopped iOS 10.x bluetooth streaming media play back?
