Q: Iphone 6s
My iphone 6s warranty expired on Sep 25th and on Oct 15,2016 I couldn't turn my phone ON and when i pressed home button it showed me apple logo following with multiple colored lining. I'm in India now and here it took my phone to Apple service centre and they said it's logic board is defected means there is hardware issue and it can'tbe replaced or repaired but they can replace my iphone with the same one and I will need to pay INR 24000 ( roughly CAD 500. U I bought my phone last year in Canada. I just want to know that logic board can seriously be not rapaired or replaced ? That will be great If I can get response. Thank you

You have been advised correctly. Apple does not replace or repair logic boards. Under out-of-warranty repair service, Apple (or an Apple Authorised Service Provider) instead offers a replacement device on a chargeable basis.
