Wifi Utility wont uninstall

Hi guys,

A few month ago , i installed a utility that is used to interface USB Wifi Dongle to Sierra based MBP 2011

Issue now is there is no way to Uninstall the utility.

It starts up with the OS, but there is no entry about the same in Settings > Users > Login Items

There is no file about the same in Applications directory .

I do have appZapper installed , cannot find any reference about this app either.

I need to remove this , but cannot find a way to uninstall the same.

From my Console, i can find these messages :

Oct 20 15:47:42 ninadmbp StatusBarApp[585]: RTCheckForHang:[Case 1]: No Wireless NIC Plug in

Oct 20 15:48:05 --- last message repeated 22 times ---

Oct 20 15:48:05 ninadmbp StatusBarApp[585]: MenuDelegate::[menuWillOpen] scheduledScanTimer Thread

Oct 20 15:48:05 ninadmbp StatusBarApp[585]: RTCheckForHang:[Case 1]: No Wireless NIC Plug in

I can see the logo in the Taskbar :

Upon Click , it reads "No Wireless NIC Plug in"

found this info on another response - sorry, I don't have his/her name to give credit to them.

When I see this, there's a lock icon with a wireless fan overlaid (like the one below). This is a status bar from /Library/Applicationn Support/WLAN which came with my Edimax USB Wifi card (Realtek chipset).

Yours may be different, but you can find out by opening a terminal window and running:

ps -ef | grep -i statusbarapp

I got:

0 1558 1 0 10:26pm ?? 0:00.08 /Library/Application Support/WLAN/StatusBarApp.app/Contents/MacOS/StatusBarApp

and from this, I can see it's in the WLAN directory, which I happen to know was installed when I added the USB Wifi driver.

You can remove the item from here by dragging it to the Trash and by dragging the entire folder WLAN
