Text to speech uses wrong language since update

Hi,

My iPad is set on German. I always had it read out an English text for me (by sliding down two fingers from the top or marking text an tapping read). Since I updated to iOS 10.0.2 it doesn't chose the right language and reads the English text with German pronunciation which sounds horribly. How do I fix this?
