Q: Water damaged iPhone 6 Screen

Right,

The other day I was showering at the gym (Wet room) and watched my phone slowly slip off the bench and drop to the floor. I quickly picked it up and checked the phone for damage, which unfortunately there was. I have a crack from left to right. Such a pain as only just replaced the screen 3 weeks ago.

However this isn't the issue. I believe some small amount of water has got into the crack and is not playing havoc with my phone. It randomly opens all the apps along the top row one by one, when im texting it opens up 'i' of that message or goes back to the main messages screen. Also if I touch half way down the screen along the left hand side the colours appear to do a 'puddle' motion. As you can imagine this is frustrating me big time!

Has anyone else experienced this? I am assuming just replacing the front screen isn't going to help at all?

Unfortunately iPhone is not waterproof. You are lucky one if it still works after contact with water. Usually phones and water do not mix and water damage is not covered by warranty. Corrosion has already started.  You should schedule a genius appointment at theApple Store to appraise the level of damages. They will offer you the best solution.
