You should backup OSX and Windows, and use

    1. Winclone ro similar third-party products, or,

    2. Use Disk Utility (carefully) and use GParted to absorb free space created via DU.

Can you lend me a hand on the steps to follow please? I remember trying to use the disk utility to create a third partition, since I didn't see a way to extend the bootcamp partition. And as a result of that, I couldn't boot windows anymore.

So I wouldn't want to make such a mistake again.

    Ty very much Loner T

If Windows is currently working, post the output of the following Terminal commands as a baseline.

    diskutil list

    diskutil cs list

sudo gpt -vv -r show /dev/disk0

    sudo fdisk /dev/disk0

Create a FAT32 partition using Disk Utility. It will render your Windows unbootable temporarily.

The Windows partition will become GPT5 after you create the new partition, instead of its current GPT4. This will invalidate the MBR. It will be corrected once the space is added to Bootcamp using GParted, and a MBR is recreated with the new GPT4 entry.

okay, I downloaded the Gparted iso in the official website, but As I try to mount it, it tells me that it can't be mounted as an error message.

    How comes it doesn't mount?

the error message is "No mountable file systems" something like that, since my mac isn't in english.

You can download Gparted Live USB from http://gparted.org/liveusb.php and then use this link to resize your Windows partition and correct your MBR to match the GPT.
