I have a 27" IMac and I am having some screen Issues. I have attached a photo. If I reboot this clears up for a while then comes back to the point that it will not let me do anything. Can anyone give me an ideas as to what this may be?

Looks like a GPU failure to me.
is that the AMD Radeon HD 6970M video cards that Apple has some issues with? I apologize I'm not very computer wise. Thanks
Not sure off the top of my head. Why don't you make an appointment at the genius bar and have them check it out.
