Q: How to un-throttled Imessages

So I have been told by apple my Imessages have been throttled because of spam activity on my account. A week ago I received a verified email from Apple telling me my Imessage was logged onto an unknown device and to change my password if this was not me. It was not me, so I changed my password and updated all information in my Iphone 6. Now fast forward a week later and my Imessages are still not working. I have spoken to 5 different Senior Apple Advisors(Two of which went on vacation and just left me hanging) and have been to the apple store now twice. They keep telling me different details and say they are waiting to hear back from the Engineer department. I get a call yesterday saying my account has been throttled or rather a suspension because I was sending spam! I was not, my account was hacked. And they keep pushing the date back further and further to un-throttled my Imessages. Is there anyone who has experienced this before and how long does it usually take for the Engineer Department to handle these matters?

iPhone 6, iOS 10.0.3

Unfortunately, you are not addressing Apple here. This is a user to user support forum, no one here from Apple. You will have to deal directly with Apple on your issue, especially since you already have them involved. No one here would be able to help, or answer your question as to how long it will take to hear from someone. Good luck.

I understand that, I was giving back ground information and my question is if anyone else has had this happen and how long it took for it to be un-throttled.

Each individual can be different. There is no way of knowing, and speculation is prohibited on the forum.

I THINK YOUR BEST OPTION WOULD BE TO CONTACT SUPPORT AND SEE WHAT THEY RECOMMEND, FOR SIGNING IN OR CREATING NEW ACCOUNT. THIS MAY INVOLVE A TOTAL WIPE OF YOUR DEVICE, GET WITH SUPPORT AND GO FROM THERE, LET US KNOW WHAT YOUR RESULTS ARE.
