Q: I’m setting up my sister’s iPhone 7

I’m setting up my sister’s iPhone 7: and at the stage where we’re transferring everything from her iCloud back-up.

 

It’s been on the ‘Time remaining at 1 minute’ stage, now: for approximately an hour.

 

What’s going on … ?

    Depending on the size of data that has to to be transferred and installed, the time predicted will change during the process. When, for example, photos are being copied, the calculated time will be longer, but as soon as there is only small data portions to be copied, this calculated time span will be back to normal.
