Q: my screen turned off and turned back to life

Hi guys let me explain my problem in short

Before 5 months ago i was using my laptop normally without any problem .

I turned it off and closed it and everything was just fine , the next day i opened it and i pressed the power button and i have heard the start up sound but the screen didn't work normally , the brightness was too low and i couldn't rise it .

I connect my laptop to a screen with HDMI cable and everything is working except the screen , i took it to a shop that i heard they are specialised with apple divces , he checked it for me and he said : when you start your mac you will see the apple sign but the brightness it toooooo low - and that actually was true-  and the issue is with graphics card and you have to change the whole motherboard to fix it !!!

While driving home my friend in the car opened it and said lets try to open your macbook who knows what would happen ?

And the surprise that the brightness has returned to the original situation , i was very happy that my screen returned back to work normally , i used it for couple off days and then one day while using it and everything is okay i moved the screen toward the keyboard - like  I’m going to close it - and suddenly the brightness is gone again , i returned the screen to vertical position but the brightness didn’t come back .

i tried to move it a little bit for some times and suddenly the brightness returned back , i figured that if i keep the screen vertical the screen will keep working normally and i didn’t close it actually till now and i haven’t seen any problem in it .

My question is : do you think really that the problem in graphics card or maybe its just a wire is not connected good enough ?

I mean in my opinion if the problem is really in the graphic card why the screen working just fine while its vertical and if move it it may turn if and may not , i mean while these five months i closed actually like 3 or 4 times without any problem , but i am afraid from the future .

thanks guys
