iPhone alarm won't turn off unless I press stop several times since iOS 10 update

Since updating to iOS 10, my alarms have been a hassle to turn off. I sometimes have to press the 'stop' or 'snooze' button two to four times before it will register. Ive spoken to other iPhone users and no one seems to be having the same issue. I have performed a restore my iPhone 6 and the problem has continued.

Hello Reynebeau,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities. I know having an issue with the alarm on your iPhone is not what you expect. If I understand correctly, when you tap to stop an alarm, this doesn't register and you have to tap stop a few times to stop the alarm. Even though you have restored, I would still follow these steps:

  1. If you have a case or screen protector on your device, try removing it.
  2. Clean the screen with a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth.
  3. Unplug your device.
  4. Restart your device. If you can't restart it, you can force restart your device.

If your touchscreen still doesn't respond like it should, contact Apple Support or take your device to an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider.

If the screen on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch doesn't respond to touch

Cheers!
