It is possible to send video from Logic to a second screen (or projector):

With the projector connected, set to Extended desktop in System Preferences>Displays and arrange the displays, set resolutions etc.

Open the video in Logic, move the video pane to the (second) projector display, control click on it and set to 'Enter Full Screen"
