Mac OS X
Q: Apple Mail is not syncing between iCloud and my desktop
Here is a head-scratcher for the community:
I use iCloud.com at work to keep an eye on my personal email.
Since updating to Sierra, I noticed that mail I read and put into a folder on iCloud.com does not appear in Mail.app on my desktop.
As a "Let's try something", I logged into iCloud.com, created a new mail folder and moved a few dozen messages into it.
Then I logged out and opened Mail.app
The new folder appears, but it is EMPTY !
What the heck ?
iMac, macOS Sierra (10.12), 27 inch 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5

Hey Dan White,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. I can see from your post that your emails won't sync properly on your Mac as it does online at icloud.com. I'd be happy to offer some assistance to get this working properly for you. If your emails appear normally online from a browser, what we can do is disable Mail for iCloud in System Preferences. Then restart your Mac and re-enable. This will reset the settings for it and give it a chance to populate normally. Once you've re-added, let us know if you're able to see those folders and emails as you do from the web.
Cheers.
