What exactly is happening, and where/when is it happening ? Your post's says  'screen saver would not take my pword', the body of your post says 'iOS would not take my password' (iOS devices don't have a screen saver, they only have a lock screen which can be passcoded), and your tagline says 'MacBook, iOS 9' (MacBooks don't run iOS, only iOS devices, iPads / iPhones / iPod Touches, do)

When are you getting the message, and what is the full text of it ? The passcode to unlock the screen on an iOS device isn't the same as your iTunes account password (unless you had set it to be the same), and if you get it wrong you won't get a message 'Apple Store'
