Pandora and Waze problems

I have a 2014 CRV. It has Bluetooth and USB connection. When I was using my iPhone 6 and iOS 9, I could use Pandora through the USB connection and Waze through Bluetooth, and both operated well together... no issues. I recently upgraded to iPhone 7 and naturally a new iOS (10). Now I have problems. I can connect Pandora to the USB have it show up on the console and works fine. I can also have Pandora connect to the Bluetooth and work just fine. I can use Waze through Bluetooth (on its own) no problem. When I have both on at the same time, my troubles start. If I keep Pandora running through the USB, and turn on Pandora, Pandora will Pause (permanently). I have to switch Pandora to Bluetooth to have it come back (still have USB plugged in to charge phone). Now, with every Waze turn direction or alert announcement, the volume goes down, but never back up, so at the end of about 5 announcements I have no more volume on Pandora (switching to radio, the volume is blasting). I actually have to now unplug the USB in order to have Pandora play and have Waze working. Now the volume problem is different, it takes about 10 to 12 Waze announcements to make the volume drop to inaudible levels.

Does anyone else have this problem, and does anyone know a fix for this issue.

Thanks all

iPhone 7, iOS 10.0.3, Pandora Waze

Sounds like everything was working well until you upgraded to iOS 10. Since Apple did not remove any software to create the iOS 10, I'm guessing Honda hasn't upgraded your software for the CRV sound system. I'd check with Honda and see if they have an update that will allow their sound system to work with iOS 10.

Well, I have tried a few other things lately. It seems Pandora will work OK on it's own through Bluetooth. When I plug the phone into USB it is also OK on it's own. When I turn on Waze, that's when the troubles start, either through bluetooth or USB. I have an LX CRV, so there is no Car Play (which is the only thing that could be updated if I had it, correct me if I am wrong, please) I don't think the LX has any kind of software to update, it's really just a plug in like the old style cassette adapters used to work to get your ipod to play in your car. I have been looking things up about this issue, and Honda has mentioned a problem with Car Play and say they are working on it. I have disabled Car Play on my iPhone 7 to try to eliminate any problem that it could have been creating (by searching for Car Play on the car).

Still having problems.
