Poor reception att with iPhone 7 plus

I've been told that people occasionally can't hear me when on a call and I often have a hard time hearing people on a call even when the volume is up all the way.

I've noticed that with my new iPhone 7 Plus I only have a maximum of three out of five reception dots and often only have 2.I live in the Chicago area and have traveled to the suburbs back to the city several times over the past three weeks since I've had the phone in the maximum number of dots that I've seen are 3.

Is this a known issue with the iPhone 7? Att sees nothing wrong. I've reset network settings wx

iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 10.0.3

Follow the instructions here, including contacting Apple Support or making a Genius Bar reservation if necessary:

In respect of hearing other callers:

If you can't hear a person on a call or voicemail or if the sound isn't clear on your iPhone - Apple Support

In respect of others hearing you:

Get help with the microphones on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

same problem. my iphone7 most of time has two or three out of five reception dots. and I live in dc downtown! i used sim card in my iphone5 , it show 5! i don't know it's a software problem or hardware problem.

Follow the same steps, including contacting Apple Support or making a Genius Bar reservation if necessary (as advised within the support articles).
