Can't copy and paste part of message

Hi, I can't copy and paste any message content anymore in iOS 10. I needed to copy a tracking number but I can only seem to copy the full message as the thumbs up, down etc bubble comes up now. Even if I copy the full message I can't paste then delete what I don't need as the tracking details area isn't large enough.

iPhone 6, iOS 10.0.2

Hi!

If you would like to copy only part of your message on your iPhone running iOS 10.0.2, try holding your finger on the message until the pop up menu shows up with a variety of useful options that you can choose. You may need to forward the message if you are unable to paste part of it in the app on which you are pasting. iPhone User Guide: Messages

Forward a message or attachment.

Touch and hold a message or attachment, tap More, select additional items if desired, then tap the Forward button.
