Q: Facetime ringing tone on bluetooth very loud

The ringing tone I hear for facetime calls on my bluetooth headset is very loud. During the ringing I have to take off the headphone.

Is there a way that I could switch it to normal call ringing or anything less disrupting?

Thank you,

iPhone 6s, iOS 10.0.2

    Hello hondur,
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

I understand from your post that the ringtone for FaceTime calls is so loud that you have to remove your Bluetooth headset and would like to know if there is a way to change the ringtone. You can change the ringtone for FaceTime in the Notification settings. Tap Settings > Notifications > FaceTime > Sounds. The following article has some additional information about notifications and how to change the sounds:

Use Notifications on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

    Best Regards.

    Thank you,

But it's not the ringtone of Facetime calls, it is the tone that I get while I have initiated a call and waiting for it to be connected.

    Best,
