    Your question isn't clear to me. What OS version and Safari version are you using? Do you have an older OS and you want to update Safari? Or do you want to use an older version of Safari?

     

    If you want to update Safari and there isn't an update available from the App Store, you will need to upgrade your OS to a newer version.

     

    You can't use an older version of Safari than the one that came with the OS.

    It can depend on which OS X is installed on your Mac.

     

    Click your Apple menu  top left in your screen.

     

    From the drop down menu click:  About This Mac

     

    Which version do you see?
