Q: Recovering Gmail password from Mac Mail

Hi,

I lost my Gmail account password. Also the mobile number updated for that account go expired. So I am unable to recover the password through Google's recovery process. But the same Gmail account is added in my Mac Mail application and I receive emails there. Is there any option to see that Gmail account's password through Keychain?

Mac Pro, macOS Sierra (10.12)

If you have the password saved in Keychain, you should be able to see it. Open Keychain Access. Highlight the entry for Gmail. Press command-I, then click the Show Password box. You'll be asked for the password for your Keychain.
