Q: Streaming NHL Games

I watch NHL game centre On my new iPad Air and my new MacBook pro and the quality on all those devices are great HD quality. I watch on my Apple TV 2 and the quality is poor. If I get a new AppleTV 3 will the quality of the streaming games improve.

 

All versions of mac devices are up to date with their OS.  Includ the ATV2.

    Hi billzy,

    Thanks for your question.  Are you using AirPlay to stream the NHL Game Center from your iPad or MacBook Pro to your HDTV?   The quality would be dependent on the resolution of your television.  The new Apple TV (4th gen) may provide a better connection as you would be choosing NHL Game Center directly on the Apple TV.   You could give it a try and return it within 14 days (in the U.S.) if you aren't satisfied with the product.

    That would be dependent on the network.

    The 3rd gen has been discontinued
