Can't install Adobe Flash Player after updating to OS X El Capitan 10.11.6

I recently updated to OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 and cannot install Adobe Flash Player. I deleted the old one and new one stalls at 90.

Thanks so much for your response to my question. I did download from that website but it didn't work. I have no idea what to do after I start up in Safe Mode. I'm not very computer literate to be able to do things like that without specific instructions. If you could tell me step by step what to do after I go into Safe Mode I would be very grateful.

I did finally find an article from Macworld.co.uk which says that Apple pretty much is blocking Adobe Flash Player because of security vulnerabilities. I think it would be nice if they would give us the option instead of deciding for us. I still don't have any idea how to get to the installer .dmg package to run the installer when I an in Safe Mode, so that hasn't worked for me. This has been very frustrating.

(First check that you have checked the box Enable Plug-ins in Safari Preferences/Security! )

The latest version of Adobe FlashPlayer can be obtained from here:

http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFl ash

You can check here: http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/about/ to see which version you should install for your Mac and OS.

You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):

http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/865/cpsid_86551.html#prob1=uninst,os=m10.6,

and also that you follow the instructions closely, such as closing ALL applications first before installing. You must also carry out a permission repair after installing anything from Adobe.

I have an iMac 2012 and it is doing fine the only big app I had was CS6 standard from Adobe. All of a sudden I could

not open either Ai or Ps or any on this software. I have never had any problems before. I have been on El Capitan with

no problem. The real trouble was when an Apple call person trashed the 2 programs from the software and had me try

to install my software without uninstalling the rest of it. I spent 3 hours on chat with Adobe people and with many links

to solve it and still it says it will not initiate the opening of the download. I am very upset with Adobe as their instuctions

are not very clear and I feel something in side this Mac is jammed and needs to be undone. Hope you may have some

idea or do I have to take this iMac to the Mac store and have them go thru it. All other apps and everything seems normal.
