Q: Is there a charge for ipod touch messages or any other service. Pucrchasing as a gift.

Also which size would be appropriate for twins. How much storage for photos and videos? I do not think they will purchase cloud space. Also is there a jack to play music through the car? Or which is the best speaker to use for a large room? Otherwise plan to use in a nightlight/sound machine.

Thanks!

I have never used this Apple product (Does it connect to windows and can you upload some of your own music?)

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.1), Apple TV Latest version

    - Apple does not charge for Messages.

If you use a metered internet provider they will charge for the data used just like any other data. Data used by Messages will apply to your data cap if your provider caps data.

    - The iPod does not have a cellular radio so you have to connect to the internet via wifi

    - Some cars have a USB port that support iPods and other Apple devices. Older cars with USB connections may not support the newer iPods. Some cars also have a AUX input which you can connect with appropriate cable to the iPod. Some cars also support connecting via BlueTooth

    - You can get BlueTooth speaker for your home or use the headphone jack

    - There are some docks available that support playing the iPod like a clock radio

    - I would not get less than a 32 GB model. The 16 GB is too small if yo have a lot of music and videos
