iPad Pro to rgb tv?

I want to watch videos that are on my ipad on an older (rgb) tv in my cellar. I bought the old Apple composite AV cable and the 30 pin to lightning connector but that does not work. My tv doesn't get any signal.

Can anyone suggest other ways?
