How do I stop the "Magic" in the magic mouse? I don't want any scrolling or gestures. (I'm using Sierra 10.12.)

Check your settings in System Preferences > Mouse
And System Preferences > Accessibility > Mouse & Trackpad

I tried System Preferences > Mouse, but that didn't work.
On System Preferences > Accessibility > Mouse & Trackpad, I went to Mouse Options and unchecked Scrolling.
In the window, I chose "without inertia".
This solved the problem.
