Q: How do I get rid of the Java command line popup
Having just upgraded to Sierra how do I get rid of the Java Command Line popup that appears at startup and periodically.
iMac (21.5-inch Mid 2011), Mac OS X (10.7.2)

You must have installed some software that is trying to use Java. You need to uninstall it or, if you know what it is and why it needs Java, install Java.
Identifying which application is responsible for triggering the alert is not particularly easy. If you want help, run EtreCheck
and post its report here.
