Software update is confusing - too many buttons to push just to open the phone. I absolutely hate it.

If you have an iPhone 5S or later with Touch ID, go to:
Settings> General> Accessibility> Home Button> Rest Finger to Open
That removes the extra Home button push needed to read your fingerprint.
Thanks so much for that info. My 15 year old grandson finds all this new technology easy but for me at 62 it is a lot to learn😀
