Q: Contacts have been lost since upgrade.

Hubby updated his iMac yesterday and today has found all his contacts are gone.

I already checked in the app support in the library folder. Stuff is there but Contacts won't open any of it.

help! He's not real happy at this point and is grousing about how every update ruins things blah blah blah

iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2013), macOS Sierra (10.12), 8gb

I too have this problem although I have some of my iCloud contacts, the folders of contacts I have typed into my iMac have been lost. 4 years worth of business contacts that I am desperate to find...

I should have noted that his computer is not attached to iCloud. Both his and mine are under my name but, of course, his information is separate from mine.
