Q: Slow playback?

Hi there.

Everything is fine when I play back my video in the library up top, but when I drag the clip to the timeline it's playing back about 10% slower. I can manually adjust each clip, but I'd rather fix the underlying problem. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Is there a mis-match between the clips in use and the Project Properties?

Providing details of both will be helpful.

I'm not sure how to check this, sorry? I've included a screenshot, is that what you're asking about?

    Yes.

Your screen shot is Inspector info from a Browser clip #16:

Clicking on the Browser Project icon reveals the Project Properties:

Note the clapper board icon denoting a Project.

Selecting the Modify Settings button will allow you to make changes.

    Clicking this doesn't do anything?

I can't seem to get to this screen for me to click on the clapper icon

    Thanks.

    Projects are in Events.

In the above example I have an Event called Lumix EVE.

Within that Event is a Project named Untitled Project, note the Clapper board at the top denoting a Project.

Highlight the Untitled Project by clicking on it and it will be reflected in the Inspector as discussed.

Perfect, got it! I've clicked 'modify settings' and the rate is wrong. It's 24p but should be I think 23.8p, but it won't let me change it?

    Thanks.

    Thank

You can't change the frame rate when the project is not empty.

You can create a new one with right frame rate, copy and paste from old to new; or you can select all, cut, change rate and then paste back.
