Photos Agent is always sending on my slow connection.

I have a slow high speed internet connection (thank you CenturyLink). "Photos Agent" seems always to be eating up bandwidth on my iMac. Is there any way to control when it is updating? Can I tell it to update overnight and stay off the internet during the day?
