Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. It's my understanding your iPhone 6 screen has been responding without touch. I can surely see how this would be concerning, especially if the apps are operating on their own. I'm happy to help.
The following steps can resolve inconsistent response on the touchscreen. Please try the steps below:
If the screen on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch doesn't respond to touch- If you have a case or screen protector on your device, try removing it.
- Clean the screen with a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth.
- Unplug your device.
- Restart your device. If you can't restart it, you can force restart your device.
