Final Cut Pro X: UNHIDE Controls in the Text inspector

I dragged the text controls in the inspector to resize it for entering scrolling credits. But now I can't see the other Basic or Advanced controls for changing the font, font size etc. because they're outside of my view. When I try to drag these frames back up, there's is nothing to drag, nothing to see, etc. It's as if I closed them, rather than resized them, because I somehow dragged them out of visible range and can no longer select them to bring them back. I tried defaulting the view, but this option only reverted the view for the application, not the inspector controls. How do I default the Inspector view?

I can't. That's what I'm reporting. There's no line, no pointer appears because there's no line. It's a bug. If you resize the line outside of view, there's no way to "get back into view" to drag it back, because it's out of view. The bug is that Apple does not limit the area where the line can be dragged to within visible area maximum.

I figured out a way to resolve this myself by removing the preferences files to default all settings. Problem resolved; but it's still a bug. Final Cut Pro X 10.1 and later: Troubleshooting basics - Apple Support

I had already resolved my issue by deleting the preferences, but I tested your solution by re-creating the problem and it worked like a charm. You are the man. Thanks. So deceptively simple! But I don't feel dumb because I know hundreds have done the same thing when they were also newbies years ago. probably years ago using this application. I'm still just a newbie. THANKS!
