Q: i cannot login to mail (its windowslive) , only if i use safari or chrome

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Its my understanding you're unable to log into your email account on your Mac. Accessing emails with the Mail app is one of the most important tasks I do on my Mac. I'm happy to help.
If you haven't already, make sure you've successfully added your account using the link below:
Use Mail on your MacChoose your email provider from the list, then click Continue.
Enter your name, email address, and email password, then click Create.
If necessary, Mail might ask you for additional settings. After you finish creating your account, you can add additional accounts by choosing Mail > Add Account.
