I have outlook 2016 on my computer and my calendar and contacts are fully populated. I have bought a new ipad air 2 and changed phones to a 5S. I wanted to see my contacts and calendars in the new devices so via the icloud i synchronised my PC with my devices. On my PC my contacts and calendar in Outlook are empty but I can see them all under "iCloud" rather than e.g. "My Contacts". Is this supposed to happen. I can copy back but as soon as I sync again they disappear. Also my calendar is has split into two 'local calendar' and 'calendar' on the PC but under iCloud. Also on my device I cannot see future diary entries - all I can see is past events and all day events.
I have run out of ideas and solutions from the net. I have tried to export and reimport to no avail. What is a 'local' calendar anyway?
