Q: unable to restart my Macbook Pro

I have just tried downloading and install in the new OS, but my laptop will not restart, can anyone tell me how to make my laptop restart please

iMac (27-inch Mid 2011), Mac OS X (10.7.5)

Hi!

Thanks for upgrading your Mac to Sierra! If your Mac is having troubles starting up after the installation, try starting up in safe mode. Try safe mode if your Mac doesn‘t finish starting up

If you are still unable to start up in safe mode, try booting to Recovery then reinstall macOS Sierra. macOS Sierra: Reinstall macOS

Reinstalling will not erase any data from your Mac. The should have your Mac starting up as you expect it to. Let us know how it works out. Have a great weekend.
