Q: Macbook air usb hub

I recently bought a MacBook air, early 2015 model.

I  need more than two usb hubs (printer, external hard drive, mouse)

I have tried 3 different usb hubs to create more outlets.

When I put a hub on, my MacBook will not hook to wifi easily, will not open apps like i tunes. It makes my MacBook non useable,

If I disconnect the hubs, all is well. Any Ideas?

MacBook Air, macOS Sierra (10.12)

Did you try "self-powered" USB Hub which has AC adapter?

Yes. I tried 4 different hubs all with the same results. 2 of the hubs I found by entering "hubs for MacBook air" in the search engines and found two that were "for use with MacBook air".

One has no power adapter, and still the same result.

I may need to add, I bought this MacBook air about a week ago, and when setting up, I updated to Sierra. Since it works flawless without the hubs, I am assuming, it is a hub problem......however???

I do thank you for the help with this issue.
